*Customers in Parkersburg, Zanesville, and Lancaster will receive a check by mail from our St. Clairsville location.

How Do You Know What To Offer?

We buy and sell tons of guitars, pedals, and amps a month, so we already have an idea what it’s worth. We also use Kelly Blue Book and Reverb to inform our pricing decisions.

Why Do You Pay Less For Amps & Pedals?

Some gear—like certain instruments and equipment—comes with higher selling costs on our end compared to guitars and basses. Because of that, our offers on these items need to be a little lower so it makes sense.

Do You Pay More If I Trade?

Whether you’re selling or trading, we make sure you get the most we can offer upfront. That way, you can make the decision that’s right for you with zero stress.

Is Their Any Gear That You Don't Buy?

Although we sometimes make exceptions, here are some categories that we typically avoid buying:

  • Very large and inexpensive amplifiers or keyboards
  • Inexpensive solid state practice amps
  • Very inexpensive pedals
  • Pedal boards
  • Pedal power supplies (especially if they don’t include everything they came with)
  • Accessories like stands, headstock tuners, cables, etc.
  • Loose cases and gig bags
  • Beginner woodwind, brass, or orchestral instruments
  • DJ equipment and lighting
  • Most pro audio and recording equipment (with exceptions)
  • Instruments that require a lot of work to be functional
  • Many inexpensive entry level instruments that do not have much resale value
