Instrument Return Request

We understand that things change, and sometimes returning your rental instrument is the right choice. Before making a final decision, consider a few things:

Struggling in class? Ask your teacher for help! Teachers want you to love music, too. Consider private lessons to offer a fresh approach.

Not connecting with the instrument? Talk to your teacher about playing a different one. It’s worth trying to find a better fit instead of stopping music altogether.

Not enjoying band or orchestra? There are plenty of other ways to explore music beyond school programs. Let's talk about next steps!

How to Return Your Instrument

If you’re sure about returning, we’ve made the process easy:

Online: Fill out the contact form on this page and choose "Request Instrument Return" from the drop-down menu. 

IMPORTANT: *C. A. House Music will contact you regarding your return request. We need additional information regarding your rental account to confirm the pickup. Any instrument we cannot collect will still be considered "under contract" and billing will continue.**

End-of-School-Year Return Requests

If requesting a return at the end of the school year, let us know before the last two weeks of school. Once school ends, we cannot retrieve instruments left in the building.

Summer Break

If your student plans to continue playing, you should keep the instrument over the summer. Your payments go toward owning your current band instrument or earning credit for an intermediate orchestra instrument. If you return the instrument, you will lose the credit you have earned on this account.
