Sales Support– C. A. House Music
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Hourly

C. A. House Music is hiring a Sales Support person for our store. We’re looking for someone who’s energized by helping others, motivated to grow, and has great energy. Required Skills:

- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly

- Willingness to work a retail schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays

- The ability to set up guitars
Helpful Skills (but not required):
- Experience with guitar, pro audio, percussion, or live sound equipment
- Prior retail, commission-based, or customer-facing sales experience
- Familiarity with guitar gear—amps, pedals, accessories, or setups
- Basic knowledge of music theory or experience playing an instrument
- Background in music performance, education, or production
- Experience using inventory or POS systems in a retail setting
- Social media or video content experience related to music or gear (gear demos, product overviews, etc.)
What You’ll Do:
- Merchandise the sales floor—make sure displays are clean, organized, and inviting
- Assist with receiving and checking in new inventory
- Help keep stock organized on the floor and in the back room
- Support ordering by communicating product needs and customer demand
- Pitch in with store events, promotions, and other storewide activities
- Work some evenings and Saturdays as part of a regular retail schedule
- Some light cleaning such as sweeping floors, dusting, etc.
- Be a team player—bring a good attitude and help where needed
