1885: C. A. House expanded with agents and stores in 20 locations across West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Early 1900s: The store became known nationwide for its massive selection of Victrolas, thanks to Thomas Edison’s invention of the phonograph.

2000s: Under general manager Steve Ceo, C. A. House Music relocated to a massive 24,000-square-foot space in St. Clairsville, featuring a piano showroom, pro audio room, guitar and drum showroom, and a band & orchestra department.
