This Squier Standard Fat Stratocaster is in Excellent condition. The guitar is fully functional and will go through a full tech set up prior to shipping. It has a minor play wear noted. Please review the photos carefully for full condition.
The HSS configuration here puts a standard humbucking pickup in the bridge where single-coils can sometimes feel thin for big chords or higher-gain tones, while the middle and neck positions retain classic Strat single-coil pickups. A 5-way blade switch gives you five distinct voices across the whole range — from warm neck-position cleans to the broad midrange punch of that bridge humbucker. It's a versatile toolkit in a familiar package.
Built Around the Stratocaster Blueprint
The body is agathis with a classic Stratocaster double-cutaway contour — comfortable against your body, easy to navigate at the upper frets. The bolt-on maple neck carries a "C" profile that generations of players have found natural and inviting, and the rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius that splits the difference between vintage-spec feel and a flatter, more modern playing surface.
With 22 medium-jumbo frets on a 25.5" scale, there's plenty of range for lead work, and the synthetic bone nut at 1.650" width keeps things comfortable across styles. The standard die-cast tuners hold pitch reliably, and the 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles lets you add some vibrato expression when the moment calls for it.
Five Pickup Positions, Plenty of Range
The bridge humbucking pickup handles the heavier end of the tonal spectrum — fuller-sounding chords, higher-gain rock and blues tones — while the Strat single-coils in the middle and neck bring that familiar glassy chime and the classic "quack" you get in between positions 2 and 4. The 5-way switching lets you blend and explore those combinations at will.
Master volume and two tone controls round out the electronics, keeping the signal chain simple and intuitive. Chrome hardware throughout gives the guitar a clean, classic look to match the purple finish.
