A German-Made Offset With Serious Tonal Range

Duesenberg doesn't do ordinary. The Paloma is their take on the classic offset solid-body — a guitar that borrows the ergonomic curves of mid-century designs but loads them up with distinctly Duesenberg hardware and a pickup layout that covers a lot of ground. This one comes in Narvik Blue, a deep, rich color that suits the guitar's retro-modern personality perfectly.

This Duesenberg Paloma is in Excellent condition. The guitar is fully functional and will go through a full tech set up prior to shipping. It has very minor play wear. Please review the photos carefully for full condition.

If you've been curious about what a German boutique brand brings to the table, this used Paloma is a solid entry point — a well-specified, thoughtfully designed instrument that holds its own against anything in this price bracket.

Solid Alder Body, Set Maple Neck

The body is solid alder — a tonewood known for its balanced response across the frequency spectrum, with a touch of brightness that works well with humbuckers and single-coils alike. Duesenberg contours it beautifully, giving the Paloma an ergonomic profile that's comfortable whether you're sitting down to practice or standing through a long set.

The neck is a one-piece maple set-in design — glued to the body for enhanced resonance compared to a bolt-on. The profile is Duesenberg's D-shape, which sits comfortably in the hand without feeling chunky. The Indian rosewood fingerboard carries Pearloid Diamond inlays and runs a 12" radius across 22 jumbo frets, on a 25.5" scale length. The nut comes in at 42mm (1.67"), giving you plenty of room without going full wide-neck territory.

Three Pickups, Four Voices

This is where the Paloma really separates itself. The pickup layout runs a Duesenberg Alnico Blade Single Coil at the neck, a Duesenberg Pearlito Single Coil in the middle, and a Duesenberg Grand Vintage Humbucker at the bridge. That HSS configuration gives you a genuinely wide tonal palette — from warm, clear neck tones to the punchy output of the Grand Vintage humbucker in the bridge position.

Routing between them is handled by Duesenberg's 4-Way Rotary Switch, which gives you four distinct pickup combinations rather than a standard 5-way blade setup. Master volume and master tone round out the controls. Whether you're chasing vintage single-coil shimmer or thicker humbucker crunch, the Paloma switches between voices cleanly.

Diamond Deluxe Tremola & Duesenberg Hardware Throughout

The tremolo is Duesenberg's own Diamond Deluxe Tremola — the short "Radiator" version — mounted over a Duesenberg steel saddle bridge. The arm rotates freely 360° and can be adjusted to your preferred position and length. Strings feed through the bar underneath the arm axis, which makes string changes simpler than on many vintage-style vibratos. Tuning stability is a known strength of this system.

Tuning is handled by Duesenberg's Z-Tuners with "Art Diego" buttons. These allow you to tuck the trimmed end of each string inside the tuner shaft, which keeps sharp string ends away from your fingers and your case lining. A small detail, but a thoughtful one. Hardware throughout is nickel-plated, finished in PUR lacquer.
