An American Classic in Olympic White
There's something timeless about an Olympic White Stratocaster with a rosewood fingerboard. It's a combination that's shown up on countless stages and records over the decades, and for good reason — the contrast between that crisp white finish and the warm, dark fretboard just looks right. This Fender American Standard Stratocaster brings that classic look together with a genuinely refined American-made instrument.
This is a used Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Olympic White with a rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is fully functional and will go through a full tech set-up prior to shipping. It has a Very Good, Small Finish Mark at Heel, Messy Router cutout. Please review the photos carefully for full condition.
The American Standard was Fender's workhorse USA Strat for decades — not a budget model, not a Custom Shop piece, but the real-deal American-made Stratocaster that countless players relied on night after night. This one comes with a gig bag and is ready to go once our tech sets it up.
Alder Body, Custom Shop Pickups — The Classic Recipe
The body is solid alder, which has been the go-to Stratocaster material for a reason: it's lightweight, resonant, and delivers that balanced tone with clear highs and a punchy midrange that defines the Strat sound. Paired with three Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s single-coil pickups — the same pickups previously reserved for Fender's top-tier Custom Shop guitars — you're getting a lot of pickup quality for this model tier.
The Fat '50s use Alnico V magnetic pole pieces and period-correct cloth wiring to capture that classic 1950s Stratocaster single-coil voice. The reverse-wound middle pickup also provides hum-canceling in switch positions 2 and 4, which is a practical touch for gigging players who've ever fought with 60-cycle hum under stage lighting.
The Neck: Modern C with Rosewood
The maple neck wears a Modern "C" profile — comfortable and fast, neither too chunky nor too thin. The rosewood fingerboard is buffed to a smooth finish and features hand-rolled edges, which gives it a played-in feel right from the start. The 9.5" radius keeps bends comfortable and chording natural, while 22 medium jumbo frets give you plenty of range across the 25.5" scale. Nut width comes in at 1.685" (42.8mm) — right in that familiar Strat sweet spot.
The back of the neck wears a satin urethane finish for a smooth, non-sticky playing feel. The headstock face is gloss, and the whole neck is anchored with a four-bolt Micro-Tilt adjustable joint with a BiFlex truss rod for reliable setup stability over time.
Hardware and Controls
The bridge is a 2-point synchronized tremolo — Fender's improved American Standard version with bent steel saddles and a copper-infused high-mass block for increased resonance and sustain. Controls are straightforward: master volume, two tone controls (one with Fender's no-load Delta Tone system for the middle and bridge positions), and a 5-way blade selector. Staggered tuning machines keep the nut break angle consistent across all six strings for better tuning stability. Hardware is chrome throughout, and the pickguard and aged plastic parts complement the Olympic White finish nicely.
