Selmer 1724 Tenor Saxophone End Plug

The Selmer 1724 is a simple, no-fuss end plug designed for tenor saxophones. It fits into the bell end of the instrument and protects the neck receiver and octave key mechanism when the horn is in the case or in storage — two areas that are surprisingly easy to damage from routine handling and transport.

Made from molded plastic with a 0.5-inch protruding length, this plug is the kind of small accessory that saves you from a costly repair down the road. If you've ever had an octave key bent out of alignment from a bumped case, you know exactly why these exist.
