D'Addario LE012 Plain Steel Loop End Single String, .012

The D'Addario LE012 is a single .012 gauge plain steel string with a loop end — useful when you need to replace just one string or put together a custom gauge set. The loop end termination makes it compatible with instruments that use a tailpiece or loop-end bridge, including acoustic guitars, mandolins, and banjos.

Plain steel strings at this gauge are a common choice for treble strings across several instrument types. At .012, this sits at a light-to-medium tension that works well as a first or second string on many setups. D'Addario manufactures these in the U.S.A. on their own production equipment.

Product Features:

• .012 gauge plain steel construction
• Loop end termination — compatible with acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, and other loop-end instruments
• Sold individually — great as a replacement or for assembling custom sets
• Made in the U.S.A.
