The Elixir 12052 Nanoweb strings are a light-gauge (.010–.046) nickel-plated steel electric guitar string set built around one idea: your tone should last. Elixir's proprietary GORE-TEX coating protects the outer windings and inner gaps of every wound string to seal out corrosive sweat and environmental debris. The featherweight NANOWEB Technology enhances playability, making bends, vibratos, and slides much easier, while also reducing excess friction for added comfort under the fingers. The plain strings aren't left out either — Anti-Rust plated plain steel strings resist tone-deadening corrosion, ensuring a longer life for the entire set.
