Tonewoods and Construction
The top is spruce — bright, responsive, and a classic choice for classical guitars. It's braced with traditional fan bracing, which helps deliver the balanced projection and warmth that nylon-string players expect. The back and sides are nyatoh, a tonewood that shares tonal qualities with mahogany and contributes to a warm, well-rounded sound. The overall construction is layered (laminate), which is standard and practical at this price point — layered guitars are more stable across seasonal humidity changes, which is good news for new players still building care habits.
The finish is a satin polyurethane in a natural color, keeping the look clean and classic. Satin finishes feel smooth under the arm without the reflective glare of a high-gloss coat.
Neck, Fretboard, and Playability
The mahogany neck is shaped in a comfortable C profile — a familiar, rounded feel that works well for players of all hand sizes. The 2.04" nut width is true to classical guitar spec, giving you the proper string spacing for fingerstyle and classical technique right from the start.
