Tonewoods and Construction
The CP100 features a spruce top with fan bracing — the same traditional bracing pattern used on classical guitars for centuries — which gives the top room to vibrate freely and project clear, balanced tone across all six strings. Fan bracing is a meaningful feature, not an afterthought, and it's what sets a proper classical guitar apart from a nylon-string acoustic that just happens to not have steel strings.
The back and sides are nyatoh, a tonewood in the mahogany family that contributes a warm, focused midrange character. The overall body construction is layered, which is standard at this price range and keeps the instrument stable across varying humidity and temperature conditions — a genuine practical advantage for a student instrument.
Playability and Build Details
