The Snark ST-8 "Super Tight" is a chromatic clip-on tuner designed for guitar, bass, ukulele, and virtually any other instrument. It clips directly onto the headstock and reads pitch through a high-sensitivity vibration sensor — so background noise at a rehearsal or on a noisy stage won't throw it off. No cables, no microphone needed.
The ST-8 runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so you won't be hunting for a CR2032 at the worst possible moment. Its upgraded high-definition display rotates a full 360°, making it easy to read whether you're tuning right-handed, left-handed, or from an awkward angle on a guitar stand. Pitch calibration runs from 415Hz to 466Hz, flat tuning and transposition functions are built in, and the stay-put clip holds firmly without scratching.
One important note: this tuner is not compatible with guitars that have nitrocellulose finishes. If your instrument has a nitro finish, check with us before purchasing.
