The 12" Jensen C12-N with ceramic magnet is the speaker that sets this version apart from the standard Blues Junior IV. Jensen has been synonymous with vintage Fender tone since the early days, and the C12-N brings a warm, articulate character with a natural upper-midrange presence that works especially well at lower volumes. It's a genuine point of differentiation — not just cosmetic.
Controls, Reverb, and the FAT Switch
The control layout is simple and effective: Volume, Master, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Reverb, plus the FAT switch for a mid-boost voice option. Having separate Volume and Master controls means you can push the preamp section harder while keeping the overall output level in check — useful when you want some grit without rattling the windows.
The spring reverb is genuine Fender reverb — lush and ambient without being washy. It's one of those controls that sounds good at almost any setting, from a light room ambience around 2 to a more pronounced wash at 5 or 6. The FAT switch engages a mid-boost that adds body and warmth, and it can be controlled remotely with a compatible Fender footswitch (sold separately).

The cabinet is built with 3/4" particle board and a plywood baffle board, and the vintage-style leather handle with nickel hardware keeps carry comfortable.
Fifteen watts of tube power is enough to hold its own in smaller rehearsal and club situations, and it mics up well in the studio. Players who need more headroom at louder volumes can push into the amp's natural breakup, or use it as a pedal platform — the clean foundation responds well to drive and overdrive pedals in front of it.
