This is a Full-Range, Flat-Response (FRFR) powered cabinet built specifically for guitarists running digital amp modelers and profilers. It doesn't try to sound like a guitar amp on its own — it gets out of the way and lets your modeler do the talking. Whether you're running a Fender Tone Master Pro, a Kemper, a Line 6 Helix, or a Fractal unit, the FR-10 reproduces what's coming in with clarity and accuracy.
And it does all of this while looking unmistakably like a classic Fender combo. That black Tolex enclosure and silver grille cloth aren't accidental — the design of the FR series was inspired by classic Fender amplifiers for an authentic backline look and feel. On a dark stage, nobody's going to know the difference.
1,000 Watts in a 26-Pound Box
The FR-10 packs an integrated 1,000-watt Class-D power amp that delivers the volume and headroom needed for even the most demanding live performance. That's not a number padded for marketing — it translates to real stage volume with plenty of headroom left over. With a maximum peak SPL of 130 dB, this cabinet will hold its own on any stage where you'd reasonably bring it.
All of that power comes in a cabinet that weighs just 25.6 lbs. The lightweight plywood enclosure is built to keep things manageable on load-in day, which anyone who's wrestled a heavy combo up a flight of stairs will appreciate immediately. Metal tilt-back legs let you angle it up like a monitor wedge — useful when you're standing directly in front of it on a small stage.
Speakers Built for the Job
The FR-10's speaker system consists of a 10-inch Fender Special Design driver paired with a 1-inch wide-dispersion high-frequency driver. Together, they deliver a flat frequency response from 58Hz to 20kHz — wide enough to accurately reproduce everything your modeler throws at it, from low-end thump to high-end articulation and shimmer.
This is not a repurposed PA speaker or a modified guitar cab. These drivers were tuned specifically to reproduce amp impulse responses and speaker cabinet models accurately. The result is that what you hear through the FR-10 is as close as possible to what your modeler intends — no unintended coloration added by the cabinet itself.
EQ Controls Right on Top
Like a traditional Fender combo, the FR-10 has its control panel mounted on the top of the cabinet. You get a full 3-band active EQ (Treble, Middle, Bass), a High-Frequency Cut knob, and a Volume control — all accessible without bending down to the front panel. The 3-band active EQ and high-frequency cut control let you fine-tune your stage tone without altering the line output signal, so what goes to the PA remains unchanged even if you adjust the cabinet's sound for the room.
Connectivity is straightforward: a combined ¼-inch/XLR input handles your modeler's output, and an XLR output lets you chain signal to a PA or recording interface. Whether you're using it as your sole amplification or as a stage monitor alongside front-of-house, the routing options are there.
