This item is a B-Stock guitar sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is new and has never been previously owned. The photos shown are of the exact instrument you will receive. Before shipment, our licensed technician will inspect and professionally set up the guitar to ensure it is playing its best. During our inspection, we noticed white stains under clear coat near controls. (see pictures) Please note, these may not be the only cosmetic imperfections. As a B-Stock instrument, there may be additional minor blemishes that are small in nature and do not affect playability or performance.
Mahogany Body and Quilted Maple Top
The Omen Extreme-6 is built around a solid mahogany body — a wood known for producing warm, thick mids with plenty of sustain. Sitting on top is an arched quilted maple top that adds visual drama and brings a brighter, more articulate character to the overall tone. Crème multi-ply binding runs the full perimeter of the body, giving this guitar a finished, put-together look that punches above its weight.
The string-through body design, paired with the Tune-O-Matic bridge, helps maximize sustain and keeps the strings anchored firmly behind the saddles. Black nickel hardware runs throughout, tying the aesthetic together cleanly against the Blood Burst finish.
Fast Neck and 24 X-Jumbo Frets
The bolt-on maple neck is carved into Schecter's thin "C" profile — .787" at the first fret, .866" at the 12th — keeping things comfortable whether you're working through chord progressions or reaching for the upper register. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653" width) handles string spacing and guides the strings to Schecter's own tuners with a 2-way adjustable truss rod rounding out the hardware.
The rosewood fingerboard runs at a 14-inch radius across the 25.5-inch scale, and the 24 X-Jumbo frets are tall enough that bending and vibrato feel natural rather than effortful. Abalone and Pearloid Vector inlays mark the way up the neck with a look that's distinctly Schecter.
Diamond Plus Humbuckers With Coil Split
Both pickup positions are loaded with Schecter's own Diamond Plus humbuckers — passive pickups voiced for high-output, high-gain playing. The bridge position delivers tight lows and cutting highs, while the neck position fills in with warmth and sustain. A 3-way toggle switch handles the standard pickup selections: bridge alone, both pickups, or neck alone.
Where it gets interesting is the push-pull tone knob: pulling it up activates coil splitting, opening up six total pickup combinations that extend well beyond full humbucker territory into brighter, more open single-coil voices. The control layout — two volumes, a push-pull tone, and the toggle — keeps everything intuitive and within reach.
