The 43mm nut width sits in familiar territory for most players coming from a Les Paul-style instrument, and the 305mm (12") fretboard radius keeps bends clean without fretting out.

This item is a B-Stock guitar sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is new and has never been previously owned. The photos shown are of the exact instrument you will receive. Before shipment, our licensed technician will inspect and professionally set up the guitar to ensure it is playing its best. During our inspection, we noticed discolored finish on body does not match headstock, the body is more a champaign color. (see pictures) Please note, these may not be the only cosmetic imperfections. As a B-Stock instrument, there may be additional minor blemishes that are small in nature and do not affect playability or performance.
Body and Build
The PS60SSL is built on a solid poplar body in the distinctive PS/Iceman shape — a design that goes back to Paul Stanley's original collaboration with Ibanez in the late 1970s. Poplar is a light, resonant hardwood that delivers a balanced tone with enough presence for crunchy rock rhythm work. The gloss Silver Sparkle finish is applied over the full body and gives the guitar its signature shimmer.
Hardware is all chrome, centered around the Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece. The Gibraltar Performer is a fixed, tune-o-matic-style bridge that provides solid intonation and sustain — and the Quik Change III tailpiece lives up to its name, making string swaps noticeably faster than a standard wrap-around.
Neck and Fretboard
The neck is maple with Ibanez's PS profile — a slim, comfortable shape that doesn't fight you on fast playing. It joins the body via a bolt-on connection, and the 24.75" scale length lands in classic "Gibson territory," meaning chord voicings feel a little easier and bends require slightly less effort than a longer Fender-scale instrument.
The bound Purpleheart fretboard carries white block inlays — a visual nod to vintage KISS-era aesthetics — and is finished to a 305mm (12") radius. Twenty-two medium frets give you plenty of range, and the 43mm nut keeps string spacing consistent all the way down.
Pickups and Electronics
Two Infinity R humbuckers (passive, ceramic) sit in the neck and bridge positions, wired to a 3-way pickup selector plus two individual volume knobs and one master tone control. Ceramic humbuckers in this configuration produce a direct, high-output character — tight on the bridge, fuller on the neck, and blended in the middle. They're voiced for rock and handle gain without going muddy.
The separate neck and bridge volume controls give you a bit more real-time flexibility than a single master volume would — you can preset each pickup's output level so rolling to either position gives you a consistent level without a big jump.
