The Blank Canvas That Plays Back
There's something quietly intentional about the Ibanez ICHI00VWH. Vintage White with a pearloid pickguard — it's not trying to announce itself. Ichika Nito designed this guitar to disappear into the music, and the spec choices back that philosophy up at every turn. The Talman body shape has become Ichika's musical signature, and you can see exactly why: it's comfortable, a little retro, and entirely its own thing.
Under the hood, this guitar is built for clean, articulate playing. A roasted maple Wizard C neck, a rosewood fretboard, and three custom ICHI-S single-coil pickups give you a platform built around clarity, responsiveness, and tonal balance — the ingredients that define Ichika's playing. Whether you're into intricate fingerstyle lines, two-hand tapping, or just want a guitar that gets out of your way and lets you play, the ICHI00 makes a strong case.
This is a B-Stock unit — new, never owned — with a finish flaw noted behind the bridge. Full details below.
This item is a B-Stock guitar sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is new and has never been previously owned. The photos shown are of the exact instrument you will receive. Before shipment, our licensed technician will inspect and professionally set up the guitar to ensure it is playing its best. During our inspection, we noticed Finish flaw, buff through behind bridge. (see pictures) Please note, these may not be the only cosmetic imperfections. As a B-Stock instrument, there may be additional minor blemishes that are small in nature and do not affect playability or performance.
Nyatoh Body and the Talman Shape
The ICHI00 is built on a solid Nyatoh body shaped in the Ibanez Talman style — a double-cutaway design that Ichika has made his own over the course of his career. Nyatoh is known for producing a warm, focused midrange with a rich low end, making it a natural fit for the clean, percussive tones Ichika favors.
The finish is a Polyurethane Gloss Vintage White — understated and clean, with a pearloid pickguard that adds just enough character. Chrome hardware throughout keeps the look cohesive and classic.
Roasted Maple Wizard C Neck
The roasted maple neck on the ICHI00 is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, and moisture resistance — making it more tolerant of temperature and humidity swings than a standard maple neck. The Wizard C profile is one of Ibanez's most player-friendly shapes: not as paper-thin as the Wizard III, but still fast and comfortable, with just enough material to grip without feeling chunky.
The rosewood fretboard brings warmth and a smooth playing feel to the equation. With 22 medium frets, a 25.5" scale length, a 12" radius, and a 41mm nut width, this neck is set up for players who want fast, accurate movement across the entire fretboard. Luminescent side dot inlays make fret positions easy to read even on a dark stage.
ICHI-S Pickups and Controls
Three ICHI-S single-coil pickups sit at the heart of the ICHI00's sound. These passive, ceramic-magnet pickups were developed in direct collaboration between Ibanez and Ichika Nito, voiced specifically to capture what players describe as the "Ichika sound" — clean, detailed, and full of spank and note definition.
The control layout keeps things straightforward: a 5-way blade pickup selector, a master volume knob, and a master tone knob. The T106 tremolo bridge with six independent saddles makes precise string-height and intonation adjustment easy, while Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads deliver rock-solid tuning stability and faster string changes.
