Celestion G12V-70 Speakers — British Tone in a Fender Box
The BB-212 is loaded with two 12" Celestion G12V-70 speakers, each rated at 8 ohms and wired in series for a total cabinet impedance of 16 ohms. The G12V-70 is a modern Celestion voice — tight low end, articulate midrange, and a top end that stays controlled even when you push the amp hard.
The total power handling comes in at 140 watts, so there's plenty of headroom for even high-wattage heads. You'll connect via a standard 1/4" speaker jack — straightforward and road-reliable.
Semi-Closed Back Design
The BB-212 uses a semi-closed back construction, which gives you a sound that sits between a fully open-back cab and a closed-back. You get more low-end body and focus than a fully open design, while retaining some of the airiness and midrange openness that players associate with open-back Fender combos.
