Roasted Pine Body and Maple Neck
The roasted pine body on this Butterscotch Blonde model offers a lighter, more open resonance compared to traditional alder, with added warmth and a subtly vintage character. The roasting process enhances the wood's stability and tonal maturity, giving you a lively response that feels seasoned from day one. Paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard, you get crisp attack, clear note definition, and the classic snap that makes a Tele sound like a Tele.
The Deep C neck profile starts slim at the nut (1.685") and gradually fills out as it moves toward the body, creating a natural feel that works equally well for rhythm chording and single-note runs. The hand-rolled fingerboard edges and Super-Natural satin urethane finish on the back of the neck provide a supremely smooth, fast playing surface. Fender also sculpted the neck heel and added a contoured neck plate, so you can access the upper frets without wrestling the guitar.

The three-position blade switch gives you the bridge pickup in position one, both pickups in position two, and the neck pickup in position three — simple, effective, and ready for anything you throw at it.
