Selmer 1714 Alto Saxophone Ligature

If your ligature is worn out, lost, or just overdue for a replacement, the Selmer 1714 is a straightforward, reliable option to keep you playing. It's a gold-lacquered metal ligature made to fit standard hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpieces — the kind that comes stock on most student and mid-level saxes.

The inverted, single-screw design holds the reed firmly against the mouthpiece while still allowing the reed to vibrate freely. It's a classic approach that's been used for decades, and it works. The gold lacquer finish gives it a clean look and adds a layer of protection against everyday wear.
