D'Addario NW070 XL Nickel Wound Single Guitar String .070

The D'Addario NW070 is a single .070 gauge string from the XL Nickel Wound Singles series — one of D'Addario's most widely used string lines. Whether you snapped a low string mid-set or you're piecing together a custom gauge set for an extended-range guitar or a drop tuning, this is a straightforward way to get exactly the gauge you need without buying a full set.

The NW070 is wound with nickel-plated steel over a hex-shaped high carbon steel core, left uncoated for the natural feel and response players expect from a round wound string. At .070 gauge, it's a common choice as a low string on 7- or 8-string guitars, or for players running heavy drop tunings on a 6-string.

Product Features:

• Single .070 gauge round wound string
• Nickel-plated steel wrap wire over a hexagonally shaped high carbon steel core
• Uncoated for natural feel and response
• Compatible with electric and acoustic-electric guitars
• Part of D'Addario's XL Nickel Wound Singles series
• Designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA
