Vandoren SR273R Java Red Cut Tenor Saxophone Reeds Strength 3 (5-Pack)

Vandoren JAVA "Filed – Red Cut" Tenor Saxophone Reeds — Strength 3, Box of 5

The Vandoren SR273R is the JAVA "Filed – Red Cut" tenor saxophone reed — a step forward from the original JAVA design with a filed cut that adds flexibility and precision to the feel players already know. These come in a box of 5, in Strength 3.

The idea behind the Red Cut was to expand what the JAVA could do while keeping its core character intact. The filed cut produces more flexibility than the standard (Green) JAVA, with a touch more tonal body and a noticeably precise attack. Vandoren grows the cane for these reeds in their own fields in the south of France.

Product Features:

• Vandoren JAVA "Filed – Red Cut" design for tenor saxophone
• Filed cut offers greater flexibility compared to the standard JAVA Green
• Strength 3
• Full, centered sound with strong projection and precise attack
• Cane grown in Vandoren's own fields in southern France
