The ESP LTD FL-4 is the signature bass of Fred Leclercq — known for his powerful low-end work with Kreator, Sinsaenum, and formerly DragonForce. Built for speed, precision, and aggression, the FL-4 blends unique design with top-tier components, making it a perfect choice for metal and hard rock bassists.

The FL-4 features neck-thru-body construction with a 34” scale length, offering excellent sustain and effortless upper-fret access. Its alder body is matched with a five-piece maple/purpleheart neck and a Macassar ebony fingerboard, delivering a balanced tone with focused attack and fast playability. The custom body shape is based on ESP’s Forest Series, but adds a striking cutout for a more extreme aesthetic.

Finished in a sinister Black Red Burst Satin, the FL-4 stands out both visually and sonically. It comes loaded with a single EMG 35P active pickup in the bridge position, delivering aggressive punch and clarity with no compromise. Hardware includes a Hipshot A Style bridge and Grover mini tuners, ensuring rock-solid tuning stability and tone.

Other pro-level features include 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, black hardware, red offset dot inlays, and an extra thin "U" neck contour for lightning-fast fretwork. Comes with an ESP deluxe form-fit hardshell case.

This item is a "B-Stock Guitar" directly purchased from the manufacturer ESP/LTD. It is NEW Stock that has never been owned. Pictures are of the actual guitar you will receive.

A "B-Stock Guitar" is a guitar that won't have structural or playability issues but could possibly have some particular minor cosmetic flaw which can keep it from passing the rigorous inspection process put in place by the guitar manufacturer. These guitars do not come with manufacture warranty.

on this guitar I personally did not see the blemish. However, just because I did not notice it does not mean there is not a small cosmetic flaw somewhere on the guitar. This was sold to us as a B-Stock for a reason where ever that reason is it is small in nature. (see pictures)
