ESP LTD B-1004 Multi-Scale - Natural Satin
The ESP LTD B-1004 Multi-Scale is a high-performance 4-string bass built for serious players who demand premium tone, modern ergonomics, and boutique looks—all at a more accessible price point. Its standout multi-scale fret design extends the scale length on the lower strings (36.25") while shortening the higher ones (34"), optimizing string tension and improving clarity, intonation, and feel across the entire fingerboard.
Crafted with a swamp ash body and topped with beautifully figured solid ziricote, the B-1004 is as visually striking as it is tonally rich. The 5-piece wenge/purple heart neck is paired with a smooth Macassar ebony fingerboard featuring 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, offering excellent durability and a fast, modern playing surface.
This bass is loaded with a pair of Nordstrand Big Splits—known for their powerful, hum-cancelling tone that delivers tight lows and articulate highs. The flexible ABQ-3MS 3-band EQ includes two mini switches: one for selecting active or passive operation, and another for midrange frequency selection (400Hz or 800Hz). With individual controls for volume, balance, bass, mid, and treble, this bass is ready for any stage or studio setting.
Finished in Natural Satin and fitted with Gotoh tuners, a Hipshot Solo bridge, and a black bone nut, the B-1004 Multi-Scale is a fully professional instrument that looks, feels, and sounds far beyond its price.

A "B-Stock Guitar" is a guitar that won't have structural or playability issues but could possibly have some particular minor cosmetic flaw which can keep it from passing the rigorous inspection process put in place by the guitar manufacturer. These guitars do not come with manufacture warranty.
on this guitar I personally did not see the blemish. However, just because I did not notice it does not mean there is not a small cosmetic flaw somewhere on the guitar. This was sold to us as a B-Stock for a reason where ever that reason is it is small in nature. (see pictures)
