The JUNO's extra-responsive cut helps new players produce a full, even tone without fighting the reed, which makes a real difference when you're still developing your embouchure and air support. Strength 2 is a popular starting point for most beginning alto saxophonists — approachable without being floppy. Each reed is individually sealed in its own humidity-balanced flow pack, so every reed you pull out of the box plays as fresh as the day it was made. JUNO reeds are available in strengths 1½ through 3 to suit where a student is in their development.
