D'Addario LE008 Plain Steel Loop End Single String .008

The D'Addario LE008 is a single plain steel loop end string in .008 gauge. If you've snapped a string mid-set or just want to mix and match gauges for a custom set, this is the straightforward solution — one string, exactly the size you need.

The loop end design makes it compatible with acoustic guitars, electric guitars, mandolins, banjos, and other instruments that use loop-end tailpieces. At .008, it sits on the lighter end of the plain steel range, making it a common choice for the high E on light electric sets or the first string on a mandolin. D'Addario manufactures these in the USA.

Product Features:

• .008 gauge plain steel string
• Loop end construction
• Compatible with guitar, mandolin, banjo, and other loop-end instruments
• Works as a single replacement or for building custom sets
• Made in the USA
