Music Man-designed pickup and onboard EQ

The StingRay RAY34FM’s body is loaded with a single alnico humbucker. Designed by the bass experts at Music Man, this pickup certainly delivers all the thump and growl you want. It also has an alnico magnet for a vintage-tinged tone. An active 9-volt preamp and a built-in EQ are also onboard. As you’re playing, use the master volume and the 3-band EQ to sculpt your tone before it hits your pedalboard and amp.

Roasting is a process that entails wood being seasoned with high temperatures to release excess moisture, meaning the neck physically weighs less.
