Humes & Berg 151 Stonelined Tenor Trombone Straight Mute

The Humes & Berg 151 is a straight mute for tenor trombone — one that's been around since Willie Berg introduced the Stonelined design in 1935 and has stayed a go-to choice ever since. It fits most tenor trombones and is built to play freely in all registers without fighting the horn.

The Stonelined construction uses a fiber body that gives the mute its characteristic tone — a sound with warmth and some woodiness while still projecting well. Whether you're in a concert band, jazz ensemble, or recording session, this mute handles the work without fuss.

Product Features:

• Straight mute for tenor trombone
• Stonelined fiber construction — Humes & Berg's signature material
• Designed for free, easy blowing across all registers
• Good intonation — suitable for solo or section work
• Classic white and red appearance
• Made in the USA
