Classic Les Paul Tone with a Lived-In Feel

There's something about a guitar that feels like it's already been broken in — that satin finish under your palm, the way it settles into your hands like an old friend. The Les Paul Standard 50s features a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that gives it the look and feel of a long-treasured musical companion. This isn't about shortcuts or cost-cutting. It's about putting a vintage-ready instrument in your hands from day one, with all the classic appointments that made the Les Paul a legend in the first place.

It has a solid mahogany body with no weight relief, as is traditional for Les Paul models, and an AA figured carved maple cap that adds a bit of bite and brightness to the warm tone of the mahogany body — that iconic balance of warmth and clarity that's made this combination the gold standard for rock, blues, and everything in between. The Gibson Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups feature nickel covers and are hand-wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, delivering everything from smooth, singing leads to aggressive rhythm tones with vintage voicing baked in. Whether you're chasing classic rock crunch or warm jazz cleans, this Les Paul delivers the goods.

This one's built for players who want the real deal — solid construction, time-tested design, and that unmistakable Les Paul voice — without the glossy showroom finish. It's a player's guitar, plain and simple.

50s Vintage Profile Neck and Player-Friendly Fretboard

The mahogany neck has a 50s Vintage-style profile with a bit of meat to it and is satisfyingly full in your hands when you play it without being too beefy, and the satin finish keeps things smooth and fast. If you've spent time with vintage Les Pauls, you know this profile — it's got substance without feeling like a baseball bat. It's comfortable for rhythm work and still gives you plenty of room to move when you're up the neck.

The neck is capped with a rosewood fretboard that is fitted with 22 smooth-playing medium jumbo frets and adorned with acrylic trapezoid inlays. The 12" fretboard radius makes first position chording and upper fret string bends equally comfortable. Whether you're digging into cowboy chords or stretching for high bends, the radius is right in that sweet spot where everything just feels natural. The medium jumbo frets give you enough wire to grab onto without feeling like speed bumps under your fingers.

Classic Hardware and Vintage-Voiced Pickups

The Les Paul Standard 50s Faded is equipped with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, a Graph Tech nut, and Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons — all the right pieces in all the right places for sustain, stability, and that classic Les Paul aesthetic. The ABR-1 bridge is the same design Gibson used in the golden era, and it's still the go-to for players who want maximum string-to-body contact and all the sustain that comes with it.

The Burstbucker pickups are where this guitar really shines. This Les Paul stays true to its roots with a pair of Burstbucker pickups: a slightly underwound Burstbucker 1 in the neck and a hotter Burstbucker 2 in the bridge. That slight asymmetry between the two pickups gives you a lot of range to work with — the neck pickup is warm and articulate, perfect for solos and cleaner tones, while the bridge pickup has more output and bite for heavier rhythm work. Both of the pickups have individual volume and tone controls, with gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers, so you'll always know exactly how you have the control settings dialed up.
