The Hagstrom ’67 Viking II is a slim, semi-hollow beauty that blends vintage vibe with a touch of futurism. Originally produced for only 14 years (ending in 1974), this reissue brings back everything players loved: classy looks, rock-solid build quality, and a huge palette of tones.

With its bound F-holes, 5-ply Canadian flame maple body, and gold trapeze tailpiece, the Viking II has serious swagger. Tone & Playability
The thin maple neck and Hagstrom’s lightweight alloy truss rod make for fast, comfortable action with excellent stability. The Resinator fretboard is consistent across its entire length, helping eliminate dead spots and deliver excellent sustain. The mini humbuckers provide a tighter, brighter response than full-size ’buckers, and coil-splitting opens the door to a huge range of usable sounds—from warm jazz tones to Hendrix-style chime.

Hardware & Finish
Gold hardware throughout, including die-cast tuners, the trapeze tailpiece, and a tune-o-matic bridge with long-throw saddles for easy intonation. The glossy flame maple body looks stunning under light.
